Huntsman Building Solutions is a world leader in insulation. They focus on PU foam solutions.

This technically advanced maquette was constructed almost entirely in plexi-glass and shows in real-time how well heat and air can be retained or lost through various insulation materials.

The three central compartments have space for different materials.

Three heat lamps in the base give off their heat and thermometers at the top indicate whether the material insulates well (low temperature) or transmits heat (high temperature). In the “chimney”, a ping-pong ball will indicate whether the insulation is airtight or not.
